Services
The core of the practice is mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering and contracting. Mechanical and plumbing expertise dates to the firm’s founding in 2001. Electrical delivery grew with it, until Murphy Prime could take a fully integrated services contract.
In 2019 the portfolio extended further. On data centres and utility buildings, where the project is MEP-dominant, Murphy Prime acts as general contractor and includes the civil, structural, and architectural elements that simply house the plant.
Shop drawings are produced against the architectural set before fabrication. Panels, feeders, and controls are labelled to the as-built. Work in occupied buildings is sequenced to the owner’s operations calendar, not to a crew’s convenience.
Air handling, chilled and heating water, exhaust, and central plant upgrades.
Service gear, distribution, lighting, standby power, and labelled close-out.
Domestic, sanitary, storm, and limited process piping.
CSA plus MEP when the building exists to serve the systems inside it.
