Murphy Prime provides engineering and construction for medium to large utility works: yard piping, service laterals, campus and municipal mains, pump rooms, and the distribution that feeds a building or a district plant.
The in-house engineering and BIM team works from a working knowledge of utility plant and distribution. Underground work is recorded before backfill. Electrical controls, valving, and pump sets are coordinated with the same model used for the building services, so a booster station does not become a separate project that clashes with the mechanical room.
Typical assignments include civic annexes, industrial yards, and central plants where the utility scope is what keeps an occupied building running. Weekend cutovers are planned when the facility cannot stop.
